Murali Mukund the secretary of the Jubilee Hils Cooperative Housing Society stated that the proceedings conducted by the president of Jubilee hill cooperative housing society expelling the members unilaterally is illegal and invalid.
Proper show cause notices are not given an opportunity not provided to anyone he stated.Mukund explained that Inquiry 51 against both the past and present committees is going on and also cases are pending in the High court and Tribunal about several irregularities.
When such cases are present, it is not proper to expel members with a dictatorial approach he opined.The housing society is bound by cooperative act and club is bound by a separate society act . Hence , the decisions of the housing society is not binding on the club Mukund explained.
Mukund said the decision to expel seems to be personally motivated and not abiding by the rules .Because , i have exposed the irregularities committed by the present committee , they are taking vindictive action against me Mukund said.
