Chiranjeevi’s Godfather which is a remake of Lucifer is not getting the required buzz in the Telugu states. Lucifer the Mohan Lal movie was already dubbed and people have seen it on OTT platforms also.
Most of the audience has already seen the movie and the plot is known to them. There will be nothing new in the Godfather. Chiranjeevi has added Salman Khan to the movie. They danced together, but Salman as such is not having any good trends in Bollywood.
The music by Thaman is not new to the movie. The trailer is also not attractive. Acharya disaster is still haunting Chiranjeevi it looks like. The buyers are also not showing any interest as it is a known subject.
GodFather is ready for release and there is no buzz around the film . The promotional activities are yet to be begun and the production house is delaying the release of the lyrical song.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s recent outing Acharya failed at the box office. Everything is linked in the industry and the box office performance of the previous film.
The same is said to be working for GodFather as well. Moreover, the Telugu audiences watched Lucifer on OTT and they have no strong expectations for the Megastar movie.
The makers gave their best in creating buzz for the film. Lady Superstar Nayanthara is playing a key role and Salman Khan will be seen in the film. The song featuring the two Superstars was released recently.
The response was not encouraging.
