Modi spoiling the Indian economy: Manmohan Singh

Worlds best economist and former PM of India Manmohan Sing today accused the Narendra Modi government of systematically spoiling the Indian Economy. The third largest economy in the world is sliding down with wrong intentions and priorities of the Modi government he explained.

Lack of reasoning and understanding of the economy is the real issue with this government he opined. Manmohan Singh was speaking at the Press conference in Karnataka on the eve of the elections.

It took years to come to this third position and now this NDA Government led by Modi is systematically dismantling it he opined.

The growth rate is down, the banking sector is in trouble, farmers are in a crisis he explained.

The demonetisation and GST were avoidable he said. The small medium and micro enterprises are suffering due to the lopsided policies of the BJP government he stated.

The fuels are costing high, diesel is competing with the petrol in spite of lowest crude oil prices at the international market he explained.

Rather than passing on the benefits it is punishing the people he alleged. It was not right on the part of Modi to blame the 70 years congress government for everything Manmohan Singh pointed out.

Liberalising of the economy and green revolution are forgotten by the Modi government he said. No creation of jobs and NDA did nothing for the benefit of people and it went on taxing the people he explained.

There is no poverty alleviation and no pro policies Manmohan said. The people know this pretty well and they will show this in the Karnataka election he opined. He was confident that the Congress will come to power in Karnataka.
