Massive show of TRS in Telangana

It looks like the TRS is gearing up for the elections in Telangana at the earliest possible again. The TRS is celebrating October 27 with massive rallies all across Telangana as part of a preparatory exercise for the upcoming party plenary on November 15.

A massive public meeting would be held in Mamunur near Warangal city as part of the plenary where KCR would spell out the future course of action.

KCR will be holding a public meeting outside the Huzurabad assembly constituency, because of the restrictions imposed by the Election Commission.

The election commission has ordered that no public meeting should have more than 1000 participants in view of the Covid situation. Hence, the public meeting is being held very close to the constituency, but outside it.

The TRS cadres can be mobilised from the constituency in a big way. Also, this meeting expenditure does not come under the purview of election expenditure.

Interestingly, KCR played a similar trick earlier too. While the Dubbak bypoll was going on, KCR organised a farmers’ meeting in a village very close to Dubbak but outside its jurisdiction.
