Telangana Government and the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in particular, has taken the and registrations portal as a prestigious one and wanted to become a role model for all other Governments.
But the new system is having its own Glitches. There are complaints from the house owners and also the registration staff that it is being one without giving the number of the link document.
Some of them are not having property tax identification number. Some names with PTIN are not matching with the owner numbers. As the PTIN was not changed during the earlier registration.
There is no role for the document writers and they are on agitation. The new system is like fill up the blanks and no history of the land and earlier owners is being recorded.
Legal experts say that the new system is technically weak and wrong. KCR has already appointed a committee comprising of the Ministers to look into the issue.
Some of them suggested that the link documents should be attached to the new system.
In some areas the registrations are not happening. It will take some time for the things to get adjusted. Some officials are not having training in the remote areas.
