Min. 3+ years of experience as a Unix Linux System Administrator / Engineer
2+ years of experience in Hadoop Administration / Operations
Experience in at least 1 of the big data distributions of Hadoop prefer Cloudera/Hortonworks
Knowledge of Kerberos security and authentication
Hands on expertise in systems administration, Linux tools, configuration management on large-scale environment & AWS Hadoop environment.
Set up production Hadoop clusters with optimum configurations.
Manage Hadoop cluster, monitoring alerts and notification.
Deployment of upgrades updates and patches.
Working with data delivery teams to setup new Hadoop users & security configurations in Hadoop.
