Kamal Hassan and popular director Shankar are reworking the strategy for Bharateeyudu 2 and it will be released in 2021 for the Tamil New year it is learnt. There were a lot of hurdles for the prestigious movie which was supposed to be produced with a cost outlay of around Rs 200 crore.
First Kamal backed out of the movie as he was entering the politics. Dil Raju the Telugu producer was supposed to produce the movie. But Dil backed out for the reasons best known to him.
Now the hurdles have been cleared and shooting is going with a full swing. Now that there are no elections around, Kamal Hassan is also working by giving bulk dates to Shankar. Bharateeyudu one was a great success in all the languages and now Shankar is working with renewed enthusiasm on Bharateeyudu 2.
Kajal is the leading lady for the movie. Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in a special role in the movie.
The theme is again Kamal fighting against corruption. But the taking will be done with all new technologies available in the country. Breathtaking locales are being selected for the movie. With no budget constraints, the producers have given a free hand to director Shankar.
It is reported that some more casting has to be done for other roles. There is a chance that two music directors my work for the movie.
