Good news for space lovers. Sivan the ISRO chief has announced that the lander which lost contact with the ISRO was found on the Moon and the scientists are trying to establish the contact at the earliest. It could happen in a day or two. Earlier the scientists thought that they have lost the lander on a permanent basis and that may not be located in the near future.
It looks like the Moon is very kind to Sivan and it knew that Sivan has wept like a child on the ground in front of PM Modi. Now if the contact is established things can move forward again.
It may be noted that Chandrayaan initially failed and then it was put to orbit with great difficulty. The soothing words of Modi worked like steroids for the Scientists and they have located the lander on the Moon.
Sivan was sobbing when he promised the PM Modi that he will try again. Modi was confident that the scientists under Sivan would achieve the impossible and they will finally succeed in the experiment.
ISRO brought the information to the notice of the PMO that the lander has been located and that the contact will be established soon. The Orbiter has located the lander on the moon. It’s a thermal image.
