While they call him the future, CM- KTR the son of CM KCR is just wanting to see that the party wins the election for the third time in the state of Telangana.
For this, they are going for a multipronged strategy. One is to get leaders from other parties into the BRS fold. The other is to campaign on the development being done in the state and especially Hyderabad and Cyberabad.
The BRS is planning a youth outreach under which, KTR will directly call up young voters. The party is also said to be mulling about organizing youth meets in various colleges and universities in the state.
These meetings and phone-ins would be organized in the month of August when the admission process in the colleges and universities gets completed.
The elections are expected somewhere in November or December. The next three months will be very crucial for the party. A sitting MLC has moved to the Congress and the BRS has to stop the Congress in some form or the other.
KCR and KTR are pounding the districts in a systematic fashion in the name of launching development works. The back-door meetings are going on through the mediators.
Despite all odds the BRS is having a slight edge over the Congress party. The Congress is overconfident and the BJP is dreaming of coming to power.
Many BJP functionaries are planning to move to the Congress so that they can win some seat or the other and get any post in case the Congress wins the election.
