Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K Taraka Rama Rao today reviewed the security, lighting and other security arrangements pertaining to the city of Hyderabad.
Enough lighting should be provided at the sensitive places he suggested the GHMC. He also assured that the traffic congestion would be eased at the earliest possible and that the roads will be maintained at international standards.
The women security must be given the highest priority and that enough awareness on 100 should be created he suggested. The DGP was also in the meeting and thanked KTR for taking up various issues to be solved pertaining to the twin cities.
KTR said that transport is also another issue that has to be resolved. He opined that mass transport will resolve the traffic issue to a maximum extent. He said that the vehicular traffic was going up every year.
The individual and office going people must also pool up for travelling to resolve the traffic issue to some extent. talking about 100 he said that the quick response must yield results and should not delay the service.
