K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for Municipal administration was seen working for the sanitation in the city. He was seen with Mayor Bonthy Rammohan in clearing the garbage here and there apart from clearing the water from the tree pots.
It may be noted that KTR has a review yesterday where he suggested that cleanliness was important and that the water should be cleared everywhere so that it does not breed the mosquitos which are responsible for the dengue in the city.
He also suggested that all the fevers were not related to dengue and that one must not panic unnecessarily. He also said that his daughter also got some mosquitoe bites here and there.
Saying that cleanliness is next to godliness, he wanted the people to keep their surroundings clean and tidy.
He also poured the antimalarial medicines in some fountains and other water storage areas. Mayor Bonthu and Whip BalkaSuman also said that they would also take up the sanitation wherever possible and would suggest the people and other public representatives to take up the same in a big way.
