Hyderabad is a mini-India and the city reflects unity in diversity, a remarkable feature of our country. People from all States of the country had made Hyderabad their home for decades. This cosmopolitan nature of the city is one of the reasons why Hyderabad is the best city to live in India.

Right after the formation of Telangana in 2014, Minister and present working president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) KT Rama Rao has said in a meeting, “Hyderabad, by its very nature, is a cosmopolitan city. It does not belong to any one region, religion, sect or caste. It can be best described a mini- India.”

Much to its motto of safeguarding that cosmopolitan culture of Hyderabad, the TRS has published an e-book on the progress of Hyderabad and radio ads to embrace the cosmopolitan culture of Hyderabad in all major Indian languages. The e-books and social media campaign will take the programs initiated by the TRS government closer to the people speaking different languages. This is a step to reach out to everyone who made Hyderabad their home and a message to Hyderabadis that TRS will ensure Hyderabad is for all. The brain behind these innovative initiatives is Party Working President and minister Sri KTR.

The booklet named – Hyderabad: The Rising Global City and radio ads are created in major Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati etc. The booklet, which illustrates the growth story of Hyderabad in last six years, is a perfect balance of beautiful pictures and required information.

Several growth components of the city such as SRDP, Police Command and Control Centre, innovative waste management techniques, Basthi Dawakhanas, etc are included in this book. It introduces us to the various development projects and welfare programs taken up by the TRS government since 2014 and all the steps taken by the government towards the making of a global city have been covered.

The e-book can be found at ghmc2020.trspartyonline.org and it is a pitch by the TRS to present the progress report of Hyderabad in light of the ensuing GHMC elections.
