KCR is the senior most in the Assembly

K Chandrasekhar Rao will be the senior most in the coming Assembly. He has won 8 times for the Assembly and he was there 7 times in a row. That shows that he is the only man present in the house with such majority and will first take oath as the leader of the house. From 1985 he has won all the elections that he has contested for the Assembly. But one time he has won for the parliament being an MLA. He resigned to the Assembly and continued as an MP. After that, he has won for 7 times without losing an election. That is a record.

He has worked in many committees, was a central minister also. He is the first Chief Minister of the 29th state that is Telangana. When compared to other top leaders he is a young man but he has taken up so many responsibilities. The credit goes to him and Telangana people are proud of him. There are no allegations against him. He is a clean man never had any corruption allegations against him.

There are 23 MLAs who are completely new. Two MPs have got elected as MLAs. They are Balka Suman and Mallareddy. # MLCs have also got elected as MLAs.

76 MLAs have got elected to the Assembly again. There are 6 women MLAs. 8 of them Muslims and minorities and one of them is Anglo Indian member.

Vanama Venkat Rao is aged 73 and he is the senior age wise. Hari Priyanayak is the junior most at the age of 29.

This time the house will assemble without having a full-fledged cabinet. Home Minister Mahmood Ali and Chief Minister will be there for the brief session where the members would first take oath under Portem speaker Mumtaz Khan and then the speaker is elected. First, the Governor would address the members and later they would thank him for the next day.

That would mark the end of the first session of the Assembly in 2019.
