The Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao has conveyed his greetings to the people in the State on the occasion of Saddula Bathukamma. The CM urged the people to celebrate Bathukamma festival, the festival that stands as a living proof for the Telangana culture and traditions, in a big way.
Special arrangements are being made for the Maha Bathukamma celebrations on the Tank bund near the Liberty circle. The Mahabathumaa would be organised here at the Lalbahadur stadium. Then the women folk after lunch would start in a procession to the Tankbund.
KCR also instructed the officials concerned to make proper arrangements at all the tanks for the Saddula Bathukamma celebrations.
The streets are being spruced up for the Bathukamma procession from LB Stadium to Tankbund. The women after coming in procession with Bathukammas on their heads. Will play bathukamma on the Tankbund and will also immerse the flowers in the Tank bund lake.
Arrangements are being made by the Government for the immersion process also. The Traffic police are also planning ot see that the procession will not have any traffic issues on Sunday. Enough security is also provided for the procession and also on the Tankbund for the event.
The Traffic would be diverted for the sake of women playing Bathukamma on Tankbund.
