The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s adopted daughter Pratyusha got married today. Pratyusha got married to Charan Reddy. He is the son of Udumula Jain Mary and Ma Reddy’s .
Pratyusha and Charan Reddy were engaged on 18th October at a hotel in Vidyanagar. Pratyusha has been working as a nurse in one of the private hospitals. Charan Reddy reportedly works in a private firm.
On the other hand, CM Chandrashekhar Rao’s wife Smt Shobamma presented jewellery and clothes to their adopted daughter in the presence of Women and Child Welfare department officials. Minister for ST Welfare Satyavathi Rathod, Women Development Commissioner, Special officer Divya and other officials were present.
Pratyusha was rescued in 2015 after being tortured by her stepmother was adopted by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Their marriage was held today.
CM KCR adopted Pratyusha five years ago after coming to know that she was subjected to torture by her father and stepmother.
She was rescued by AP Child Rights Association.Pratyusha who was living a hell at one point of time, is now happy and all set for a bright future.Pratyusha, the young girl who was brutally harassed by her step-mother and father? With the help of locals, the media made this a sensation and it caught the attention of Telangana CM KCR. Having seen her plight, KCR had announced that he is adopting her and would take care of her education and stuff.
Pratyusha also stayed with KCR and family at the Pragathi Bhavan for some time. KCR instilled confidence in her while having lunch and also giving her some time. From then on Pratyusha with all confidence has grown up to this level.
Keeping his promise, CM KCR asked IAS officer Raghunandan Rao to do the necessary measures. The woman and child welfare department stepped into action and after recovering from the physical assault, Pratyusha has done her nursing with government funding. Currently, she is working as a nurse in a hospital, today she stepped into a new phase of life.
