NTR biopic first part is running with mixed results. The collections for Kathanayakudu, NTR as the film hero did not connect with the audience properly. There was a lot of hype in the industry about this movie, but the results are not that encouraging.
Next month we have Mahanayakudu where NTR starts his political journey. Some of the Analysts who have seen the movie said that a lot of positive side of NTR was shown and some realities were not touched at all.
The very fact that the first director Teja who was supposed to shoot the movie opted out of it shows that there was something wrong. Too many getups and too much focus on Balakrishna also did not go well with the audience. It looked as if Balakrishna was showcased to boost his image, rather than showing the real NTR and his lifetimes.
Now one has to see how the second part is shaping up. The second part has the role of Chandrababu Naidu. In reality, Babu is the villain in the eyes of the public. He was named as backstabber even now. The issue comes up now and then in the Assembly against Babu. But the director Krish will be forced to show Chandrababu as a saviour here in the second part. The people will not digest this.
It is reported that the script prepared by Teja was different and then Krish developed the same suiting the needs of Balakrishna and Chandrababu. It is an open secret that Babu due to various reasons has dethroned NTR and came to power.
But this will not be there in the movie. The second part of NTR also will not have the reality so people may reject it.
