Jagan Mohan Reddy who was stabbed at the Airport with a cockfight knife must appear before the NIA for further investigation the court opined.
The probe by the NIA has been going on and now the NIA wants to take the evidence from CM Jagan directly.
The Court has given 15 days time to Jagan for further investigation in the case.
NIA which has started investigating Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Kodi Kathi Case has served Notices to Fusion Foods Restaurant Owner, Harshavardhan and the workers in the restaurant, earlier asking them to appear before them for questioning.
The accused was working in that restaurant when the attack happened. NIA already took custody of the accused Srinivas Rao and has been questioning him in Hyderabad for the last five days.
NIA took over the case after YSR Congress went to the High Court demanding an investigation by a third party that can not be influenced by the State Government.
YSR Congress is of the opinion that it is a clear case of an Assassination attempt on the Opposition Leader aided by the State Government. Vishaka Police had concluded that Srinivasa Rao is indeed a fan of Jagan but attacked him to get sympathy.
He also tried to become a Hero before the women he knows with this Attack on Jagan. The TDP leaders charged that Jagan did this to gain sympathy from the public and that the YSRC hired Srinivas for the same. Now the ball is in the court Jagan and he has to face the questions from NIA.
