30 more TTD laddu counters

The TTD EO said, at present around 50 counters are functioning round the clock to issue laddu prasadam to devotees at Laddu Complex. To avoid the waiting time for pilgrims at Laddu Complex, 30 more counters would be set up soon”, he maintained.

But the quality of the Laddus is going down. There is no aroma and sugar grains are sprinkled in the laddu. There no dry fruits at all. Laddus are sold like sweets across the counter and there is no sanctity.

TTD is now gearing up for yet another important fete, Radhasapthami on January 28 and preparations for the same are under way said, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

The EO said, on that day, Sri Malayappa Swami will bless devotees on seven vahanas on Mada streets including Surya Prabha, Chinna Sesha, Garuda, Hanumanta, Kalpa Vruksha, Sarva Bhupala, and Chandra Prabha vahanas in between Chakrasnanam after four morning vahanams.

A meeting with all the Heads of the departments in Tirumala was also conducted to discuss the preparations.The 25-day Adhyayanotsavams will conclude on January 15 at Tirumala temple.

The festival which commenced on December 22, eleven days prior to Vaikuntha Ekadasi will conclude on Sunday.

On 22nd day, Kanninum Siruttambu, 23rd day Ramanuja Nutrandadi, 24th day Sri Varahaswamy Sattumora and on final day Tanniramudu Utsavam will be observed.In connection with Radhasapthami on January 28, Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi will take a celestial ride on seven different vahanams starting from 7am till 9;30pm in Tiruchanoor.

The vahana sevas will commence with Suryaprabha followed by Hamsa, Aswa, Garuda, ChAAinna Sesha, Chandraprabha and Gaja Vahanams.

In the evening between 3:30pm and 4:30pm Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed to Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam.

In connection with Radhasapthami, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed on January 24.
