The Telangana Assembly is getting ready for the Budget session 2021-22. It is going to be a difficult proposition for the CM and also the officials as the income levels have come down due to Covid conditions.
The budget should be real and it is should be able to come out of the red in the coming financial year. New avenues have to be created to improve the financial condition of the state in general.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will conduct a review on the Telangana budget meet today. Finance Minister Harish Rao and Finance Ministry officials are expected to attend the meeting.
There is information that the CM will review the management of budget meetings as well as related issues. It is likely that the dates of the budget meetings will be finalized on this occasion.
It looks like budget meetings will be held in another two weeks. The Officials in consultation with the Finance Minister Harish are planning in such a fashion that the Budget session will end by this month end.
Taking the second wave of the Covid conditions the session has to be conducted and the tenure will be brief it is reported. The idea is to pass the budget for the coming financial year.
But the benchmark for the budget session is that there should be no dearth for funds while allocations would be made for the welfare schemes. Farmer welfare and the welfare of the poor will be the main theme or the coming budget.
