The Sun appeared in the sky in Hyderabad this morning. The IMD issued a warning, indicating that the Hyderabad city is likely to get rain again.

Some areas in Musheerabad and Attapur, Towlichowki are still underwater

According to IMD meteorologists, these heavy rains are anticipated to persist for the coming next 3 days. The GHMC workers are having a tough time clearing the stormwater across the city.

Thundershowers are expected all over the state by this evening. Some buildings are still underwater as the rainwater is slowly receding in a phased manner.

The floodgates have been lifted for Osman Sagar and Himayathsagar and the water is let into the Musi River. The rainwater is overflowing over the bridges in the old city.

Many colonies in the old city and on the outskirts of Hyderabad are under slush. It will be good if the Government under KTR dynamic leadership can clear the stormwater drains and then construct new ones so that the water does not stand on the roads.
