The City of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Cyberabad were drenched with rain. Some areas were clogged with rain water. Two more days of rain is expected in the city.
This is summer and it is an unseasonal rain. The farmers have lost some mango crop due to the winds and this unseasonal rain. It rained cats and dogs in some districts for some time.
The GHMC workers are clearing the water- logged in some parts of the city. We can see the water clogged in Fim Nagar, Banjarahills and some other areas.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has reviewed the situation of rain in the state. KTR the Minister for Municipal administration has alerted the GHMC staff to take care of the precautions to see that there is no water clogging and that the drains are kept clear to see that the water flows easily.
The staff is on alert as the rains are expected for the next two days. Keeping the past experience in mind the officials were advised to be doubly careful with the rain.
