Himanshu gets prestigious Diana Award

Industries and minister KT Rama Rao’s son and grandson of KCR, K Himanshu Rao bagged the prestigious Diana Award for his initiative SHOMA – Making Villages Self-Sustainable.

Himanshu is always in news by doing social work one way or the other. At a young age he walked into the state secretariat with his friends. He participated in various social programs.

He also travelled with the CM KCR for some religious programs.

Now he bagged the Diana award.“Diana Awards honour young people who work to improve the lives of others. The award is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged between 9 and 25 years can receive for their social action or humanitarian work. It is named after Diana, Princess of Wales,” Himanshu Rao tweeted on Monday.

“With great delight, I announce that I have received my Diana Award for my tremendous initiative SHOMA – Making Villages Self-Sustainable. More details will be announced soon!” he tweeted and thanked Diana Award for recognising his work. He thanked Chief Minister and his grandfather K Chandrashekhar Rao for guiding him in the implementation of the project.
