Yes we are talking about the Karimnagar mayor Sardar Ravinder Singh. He is favourite of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. As a mayor, Ravinder has done well and he was in news for starting a scheme where the last rites of a person are done with just one rupee. This attracted countrywide attention and people like Vice President Venkaiah Naidu have appreciated the efforts of this mayor from Telangana in Karimnagar who is doing the service for almost free of cost.
Now the latest is that the Mayor has started a new scheme for various diagnostics with just Rs one. These are days where people are extracting lakhs of rupees for treatment. The doctors just make a mountain out of a mole and extract the patient even in his death.Now Ravinder has started this scheme of Rs 1 which is attracting all round attention and appreciation. Even before the treatment, thousands are being spent for the diagnostics. But if the diagnostics can be done at Rs 1, the poor people will be more than happy.
Ravinder requires all the appreciation from the Chief Minister KCR and if possible from PM Narendra Modi also.
If it is possible for a Mayor in Karimnagar it should be possible for the Government also. The State Government and the health department must think about this scheme as the diagnostics are not covered under the health card scheme or the Arogyasri.
