V Hanumantha Rao popular as VH, known for his straight forward talk urged that Rahul Gandhi should continue as the President of the party if the party has to continue in politics. VH earlier said that there were coverts in Gandhi Bhavan and that was the reason for Congress to lose the elections miserably.

It may be noted that Ponnam Prabhakar and also Revanth Reddy have resigned to their posts urging Rahul to continue in the President post. Meanwhile, intellectuals like Shekar Gupta opined that there was no proper think tank in the party and that was the reason it was not getting revamped. They opined that it would be very difficult for the party to continue in the future.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Congress wants to shoot up into the sky and grow faster, but the reality is that it has no roots in the ground. But the BJP was rooted into the ground and not trying to fly high.

Meanwhile, the trend is that leaders of all the political parties are joining the BJP to have a better political future. MPS, MLAs cutting across the party lines are joining the BJP. Congress is almost becoming zero in the Telugu states.

MPs and MLAs are just migrating into the BJP left to right and centre. While all this is happening Rahul Gandhi has once again reiterated that he does not want to continue as the President of the party.
