Minister for IT and Industries K Taraka Rama Rao is one person who always walks the talk. He was the one who advocated handlooms to all on Mondays. That is for encouraging the weaver community. He suggested that the employees and all others must wear Handlooms on Monday to encourage the handloom weavers.
KTR was instrumental in making Samantha the leading star as the brand ambassador for handlooms in the state of Telangana.
Not only that KTR came to the swearing-in ceremony with handloom clothing. This was observed alter by some ministers who moved close with him.
Even though it was Sunday, KTR came to swearing-in after having tilak from his sister K Kavitha at the camp Office. Harish Rao was also present here on the occasion and Kavitha also gave him the Tilak. Later they came to together to the Rajbhavan for the swearing-in ceremony.
On the other hand, KTR is also building a Textile park here in his constituency Siricilla. The contract of weaving Bathkamma sarees was also given to the weavers in Telangana. It is supposed to be a big contract.
In this way keeping up his promise KTR is encouraging the handloom community in Telangana.
