With the clarification of the PM Narendra Modi that the Government has no business to be in business makes it clear that the BJP Government will not run the VisakSteel Plant. They are ready to sell it .

Minister Dharmendar Pradan has also made a statement in the parliament that they are selling the Visakhapatnam steel plant. The Government cannot afford to absorb the losses the PM clarified.

As they are not going back on the farm laws, in the same fashion the Government may not go back on the decisions taken to sell away the loss making organisations.

A committee is already working into the modalities of selling the steel plant. The employees of the steel plant have been agitation for the last 15 days.

More than a lakh employees are depending on the steel plant. AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy has assured the employees that he will save the steel plant from privatisation.

TDP chief and LOP Chandrababu Naidu offered to talk with the AP CM Jagan for saving the Visakha steel plant. The BJP leaders in AP are also against privatisation.

But Modi the PM has ruled out running the loss making organisations in the name of welfare. Like the farm laws, the BJP government is firm on selling the steel plant.
