During the recently concluded assembly session it was brought to the notice of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao that large number of attendants are coming to the Hospitals in Hyderabad and facing problems without proper facilities.
As per the directions of Hon’ble Chief Minister, Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar IAS reviewed with the senior officials of Medical and Health department and the concern Hospital superintendents at BRKR Bhavan today.
Chief Secretary instructed to identify the suitable locations within the vicinity of these hospitals for having a functional attendants accommodation immediately. Chief Secretary also instructed to arrange subsidized breakfast, lunch and dinner in collaboration with Hare Krishna Mission Charitable Foundation.
Necessary arrangements such as proper shelter, drinking water, sanitary facilities etc for comfortable waiting of the attendants, duly keeping the needs of lady attendants also should also be provided, he added Large number of attendants along with the patients are coming to the hospitals like NIMS, Niloufer, Osmania, Gandhi Hospital, TIMS, King Koti, Fever Hospital, M.J.Cancer Hospital, Govt Maternity Hospital etc. The Chief Secretary instructed that these arrangements shall be made available from Dusserah festival. This will benefit large number of attendants accompanying the patients, he observed.
Sri SAM Rizvi, IAS, Secretary, Health, Sri Kaunteya Das, CEO, Hare Krishna Mission Charitable Foundation, Dr. Gangadhar, OSD to CM, Sri Chandrashekar, MD, TSMSIDC, Ms. Jayalatha, Director, Cancer Hospital, Dr Shankar, Fever Hospital, Dr Rajaram, Supdt. Gandhi Hospital, Dr Shankar, Supdt. King Koti Hospital, Superintendents of Nilofar, TIMS and Koti Maternity Hospital attended the meeting.
