CM assures of pensions to all the eligible

During the Assembly Sessions, it was brought to the notice of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao by various MLAs that the old age pensions to the persons whose age limit has been reduced to 57 years are not getting the pension and many of them could not apply. The Hon’ble Chief Minister has assured that all the eligible persons will get old age pension.

As per the directions of Hon’ble Chief Minister, the Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar, IAS reviewed the issue today and observed that still some more people are left over. It is instructed by the Chief Secretary that the time for applying for the old age pension by the eligible persons need to be extended in order to facilitate all the eligible persons to apply for old age pension and to sanction the same to the eligible. Chief Secretary instructed Sri Sandeep Kumar Sultania, IAS, Secretary, PR&RD and Sri G.T.Venkateshwar Rao, MD,TSTS to make necessary immediate arrangements in all the Mee Seva centres to facilitate the eligible persons applying for pension from 11th October 2021 to 30th October 2021.

All the eligible persons of 57 years can avail this opportunity and apply for the old age pension from 11th October 2021 to 30th October 2021 in Mee Seva centres.
