Raja Singh the Goshamahal MLA has given his resignation to the MLA post. The reason he quoted is that he wants to protect the cows and also the Hindutva. He says that being an MLA he was unable to do that and submitted his resignation to the party, President Dr Laxman, recently.
The reality is that he was not on good terms with the other MLAs and party leaders. That is the truth and no one was coordinating with him since last several months. When it comes to the old city he is a challenger to the MIM and is ready to contest from Hyderabad seat it is reported.
It has to be seen if he would be cajoled and convinced to fight on the BJP ticket from Hyderabad seat for the parliament. Several times there was news that he was quitting the BJP. He has made several controversial statements against the MIM and proclaims as the protector of Hindutva. He is ready to sacrifice himself for the protection of the cows.
Several cases have been filed against him for raising the religious issues and sentiments in the people here. He wants cow slaughter to be noted as a crime. Rajasingh said that he would go to any extent on this issue. On the other hand, it looks like he is testing the party leadership here. He wants to see if Laxman endorses his resignation.He has sent his resignation to the Speaker Madhusudhana Chary, but he gave it to Laxman.
On the other hand, the BJP has got nothing to do but surrender to KCR the TRS chief as they have already reached to an understanding with the centre. It was the same for the BJP when TDP was in power. They could never contest all the seats and they don’t have such kind of leadership and cadre apart from funds for contesting all the seats.
