It looks like Didi Mamata will take the role of KCR the Telangana CM in knitting a Federal Front at the centre. Mamata is planning to contest against Modi from Varanasi in the coming elections.
The TMC party has challenged Modi on this front. When Modi asked if Didi was allowing for an alternative to Nandigram, implying that she would be losing the seat, the TMC people as a counter challenged Modi to look for another seat leaving Varanasi in the coming elections.
The Mamata Banerjee-led TMC, taking a jibe at the prime minister, asked him to “look for a safer seat in 2024”, adding that he will be “challenged” in Varanasi.
