A movie on the life and times of Ilairajaa has been started with Dhanush. Dhanush will be playing the role of Raja. It will be like a rags to riches story in the making.
Raja started his career on the streets where he sang songs with music and earned some money. He also worked with Bala Subrahmanyam as a guitarist and then the rest is history. Now he is being called Isaignani .
He is popular across the world.
Titled Ilaiyaraaja, the movie’s launch event has been graced by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan, and others. Ilaiyaraaja, Kamal Haasan, and Dhanush together unveiled the first look poster.
Arun Matheswaran, who directed Captain Miller with Dhanush, is also directing this venture, which will begin soon. Nirav Shah will handle the cinematography, and Ilaiyaraaja will handle the music.
We have to see who will be playing the role of Balasubrahmanyam. Bhariti Raja can play his own role in the movie as he also travelled with the music director.
