With the election commission making it amply clear that the elections would be in November the political heat is on in Telangana. The TRS has announced 105 candidates and took the other parties by surprise. They are shattered and running around for the candidates. Except for the Congress, the other parties trying to come into the fray are already in trouble.
In some places, the TRS has two candidates and they have some dissidence which they can, in fact, take care of as the B forms have to be issued. The BJP which boasted of coming to power in Telangana is nowhere. You can see Dattatreya, Kishan Reddy, Laxman, NVSS Prabhakar, Ramachandra Rao, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy in the forefront and there is no one to contest from the Rural areas.
Like MIM the BJP also has a base in Hyderabad and other adjoining areas. How to get the other candidates is the question. The BJP will contest the seats and help in splitting the Congress vote which would help the TRS to win the election with ease. It is reported that this time Dattatreya the MP is trying to contest from Sanathnagar as an MLA against Minister Srinivas Yadav. If he wins alright, otherwise he would again try as an MP from Secunderabad as usual.
The situation is like this now. If you cant get TRS ticket shift to Congress. If you can’t get Congress ticket, move to the BJP. Getting tickets with the BJP is easy. So the demand is for TRS and KCR has announced the names. The next alternative is Congress. Otherwise, you can get the BJP.If you are sure of winning then getting BJP ticket is not an issue. Many aspirants from the TRS who dont get tickets will go to Congress. Some are already shifting to the TDP, as they are originally from the TDP. There is no Janasena or YSRC in Telangana.
This is the way the aspirants are planning for adjustments.
