Danam Nagendar who was the Hyderabad chief for the Congress till yesterday could be the chief for the TRS. Same post but party change. Earlier for GHMC elections, it was Srinivas Yadav and KTR who took care of Hyderabad and won almost all the seats and it was a record. Now Danam will take care of Hyderabad and Srinivas will take care of Secunderabad and KTR will look after the state. With both KTR and Srinivas Yadav due to get promotions, here comes Nagendar to take care of GHMC.
He is slated to get an MLA seat or an MP seat from Secunderabad. If it is MLA it could be Khairatabad, Jubileehills or Asifnagar his favourite constituency.
He would join the party with all the Hungama either Sunday or some other day convenient to the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The deal is done and sealed with KTR and the same was conveyed to KCR it is learnt. Both Nagendar and Srinivas Yadav are close friends from the beginning irrespective of the political affiliations.
There is another option that he could be made to look after the welfare of the BCs in general. Like Sukendar Reddy is looking after the Rythu Samanvaya Samithi. There could be a body created for the welfare of BCs.
Getting Nagendar is like winning the Hyderabad easily. KTR is already having a grip over the GHMC, but he is busy and has to concentrate on politics at the state level. The elections are fast approaching. Nagendar is a major catch for the TRS and there is no doubt about this. Now they are trying for Mukesh another popular leader. If Mukesh also comes to TRS it is Khel Khatam for the Congress in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
