Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, IAS reviewed the progress achieved under the RIDF projects in the state at a high power committee meeting held at BRKR Bhavan today. He directed the officials to execute all the works expeditiously and submit the project completion certificates within the stipulated time.
CGM NABARD Sri Y.K.Rao made a power point presentation and briefed about the sanctions and disbursements made by NABARD to the state. Chief Secretary emphasized that all the departments should productively spend all the money released by NABARD and submit the project completion reports at the earliest. The progress of various development works taken up by Irrigation, Mission Bhagiratha, R&B, Panchayati Raj etc were reviewed.
Chief Secretary asked the Secretary agriculture to explore the possibility of availing low cost financial support for promoting intensive oil palm cultivation in the state.
