Amid a huge surge in Coronavirus cases, the experts have suggested that only lockdown can help curb the surge in the daily Covid cases in India.

India is currently witnessing a huge surge in the daily coronavirus cases from around the corners, the experts are warning that the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is spreading at a very high speed and requires an extraordinary response to control it.

”One robust way to respond to this new variant of the virus is to quickly go for a restrictive lockdown,” said Naresh Trehan, top cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeon.

“The way Maharashtra had taken a decision, the other states too should make a fast move… because time is precious,” he said.

Both Maharashtra and Delhi are witnessing serious situation. Night curfew is being imposed. week-end lockdown has been announced. But the medical experts suggest that all states must go for the immediate lockdown to break the virus chain.

The exams have been cancelled in some places and postponed in some other places. The double mutation is the main issue it is reported. The WHO DG has said that this virus is not going to die so easily.

When it comes to Hyderabad, all the hospitals are full of patients. The Covid cases are rising in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

But KCR has ruled out the possibility of a Lockdown. Prime Minister Modi has reviewed the situation with the Chief Ministers of the states.

He wanted the CMs to implement micro isolation centres wherever necessary.
