All is not well with the affairs of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam.(TTD).
While selling the LI and L2 entrance ticket in black is not new, even the central minister’s letter is treated like an ordinary letter at TTD as you don’t bribe the people concerned. A letter gets LI priority if you approach the right person with proper formality and if you don’t pay the formality you are not given due consideration.
Sometimes even the former Eos letter is also taken very easily by the TTD authorities. Getting the letter processed, getting a room and finally making the payment for the next day darshan will take one days’ time and the next day you will get the lords darshan if you are lucky.
People say it is god’s grace. But it is not so these days. If you are prepared to spend money everything is possible here at the TTD. If you are from Telangana and if you are carrying Telangana VVIPs letter even the CMO letter is also looked down. That is the reality here.
Pushing in the line is very common and if you are not lucky you may get bruises also. Religious values have come down and pilgrims have to learn commercial terms to get the darshan here at TTD. The board members are busy with their own interests and photographs in the social media. It is like you scratch my back and I scratch your back for them.
The vigilance man who killed the old pilgrim in the line by pushing him should be identified in the CC camera and taken to task. So that the so called vigilance men will not kill people at the lords abode in future. The brokers at the ticket counters and also the accommodation counters should be weeded out.
Any official who chides at the pilgrims or raises his voice against the pilgrims in the name of region and also state should be penalized.
Lets hope the CM will look into the affairs of TTD.
