Adipurush is one of the prestigious being made by Mumbaiwalas for Baahubali Prabhas. They wanted the movie to be completed in stipulated time so that they can sell the digital rights and also OTT rights apart from releasing it on the silver screens.
As the Corona cases were on the rise in Mumbai, the team has shifted to Hyderabad and were making sets in Hyderabad for the Movie. But due to the lockdown in Hyderabad, the work has come to a grinding halt.
It looks like the movie would get delayed further and Prabhas has to take the stress of delay in the project. His work for Salaar was also stopped due to the lockdown in Telangana.
Right now the Radheshayam is ready for release and some patchwork has to be done. All the movies are supposed to be released in 5 languages and there is no question of making losses.
The digital rights will fetch money and then releasing in 5 languages makes the movie risk free. That makes all the difference for the producers of Prabhas.
The Baahubali movies can be sold in international languages also.
