The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is gering up to explain the people on demonetisation before the new year sets in. His dead line of 50 days will end on December 30 and he is bound to answer the people as to what is actual position in the country regrading the availability of the new currency.
The PMO sources told greattelangaana.com that it will be just before the new year or on the New year day as part of the greetings that the PM would speak to the people and tell them as to what was happening on the notes front and what will be the future of the people in the country.
Three days have been lined up by the PMO for the Modi address to the Nation and it cold line on the news channels as he did on November 8th for the demonetisation. It could on 3oth, 31st or 1st of 2017.
The PM already talked to the bankers over the matter and is ready with the brief. He is of the opinion that the majority of the people and the common man are with him over the demonetisation and he would not bother about the rich who are in minority when it comes to voting in the country.
The PM is likely to announce some sops for the poor and would give facts and figures over the demonetisation . The Government believes that it has helped the country in stopping the terrorism, human trafficking and the riots in Jammu Kashmir to a larger extent. But some businesses have come down and the common man is at the mercy of banks and ATMs.
Majority of Modis public meetings were about the demonetisation and the volte face of the opposition. .Congress party and Rahul Gandhi did not get the right strategy together for grilling the government and lost the plot. The opposition is now divided as Rahul met the PM in between in the name of farmers.
The BJP and Modi will bulldoze its way and the Congress will have no other option but wait and watch.
