The Congress party is unmindful of the fact that the very fact of Chaiwala utterance against Modi has made him the Prime Minister of India. Now Mallikarjuna Kharge the senior leader from the Congress party has stated that it is because of the Congress tolerance and belief in democracy that made a Chaiwala the Prime Minister of India.
Kharge has talked as if Congress made Modi the Prime Minister of India. The BJP believes that as long as the Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi is at the helm of affairs, the BJP continues to win the elections and that it is good for them. Some Congress leaders openly agree that Rahul is an iron leg and where ever he campaigns they are bound to lose the election.
Kharge says that the BJP and Modi were talking about the emergency that was imposed decades ago, but for the last 4 years, there is an undeclared emergency in the country he stated. Reeling out various schemes of the BJP, Kharge said that noting was implemented and it was just publicity hungama.
On the other hand, Kharge enthused the Congress cadres to fight together so that they win the elections in the 3 states. If we can win Maharashtra we can at the centre that is what Kharge told the Congress leaders and cadres.
Achche din will only come when the Modi Government is dethroned he said.
Even in Karnataka the Congress cadres must shun the differences and run the state in unity he suggested. The Maharashtra Congress has launched project Shakti where people can join the Congress. Kharge said that the Congress party was forming a grand alliance where they would suggest the Communists also come under one roof to fight against the BJP.
