Getting an appointment with Prime Minister Modi is not an easy task. Apart from NITI Ayog meeting, most of the CMs have been asking for the appointment of Prime Minister. Narendra Modi is a calculated man and does not give his time so easily.
But when you look at the recent times Telangana CM KCR has been invited to meet Prime Minister Modi for about an hour.
May be this is one of the biggest appointments and time that Modi gave to a Chief Minister.
Earlier when TDP sailed with BJP, Chandrababu was the blue-eyed boy for Narendra Modi. But the things have changed now. KCR said that he would start a front against the BJP and the Congress, even then Modi gave his time to KCR. That is the importance Modi is giving to Telangana. Not only that CAG has placed on record the development of Telangana at the top and gave the number one ranking.
Soon after meeting KCR, Modi called his son K Taraka Rama Rao the dynamic minister from Telangana who is the son of KCR. This is like a double bonanza. KTR had the time to ask for the ITIR and also the Bayyaram steel plant for TS. Two people that the CM of Telangana and the Minister of Telangana getting the time of Prime Minister in a month is a great and significant achievement.
That shows the importance and priority that Telangana is getting at the national level and especially with Modi. Unless and until you have some achievement and importance Modi will not entertain you.
It could be from the political angle also that KCR is growing in stature at the national level that Modi is giving such a priority.
Now all other CMs are jealous of KTR that he could get the time from PM Modi immediately after the CM. That shows the importance of Telangana and also KCR.
