The leaders of eh opposition and the people who are staying around the LG polymers industry have demanded that the chemical industry must be closed. The company belongs to South Korea and is spread across 1000 acres of the land.
The gas which got leaked is identified as sterene. There is no fire safety wing in the industry. The Company did not take permission from pollution control board.
It is reported that the condition of 30 people is very serious.
The TDP leaders demanded that the people who died must get a compensation of Rs 50 lakh each and the treatment expenditure must be taken care of the company to around 250 people who were admitted to the hospital.
The LG polymers with deadly gas storage is right now located in the midst of habitations where people and cattle are living in big numbers. The PM Narendra Modi has expressed his anguish over the gas leakage.
The management of the polymers must be arrested the people demanded.
