PM holds emergency meeting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding an emergency meeting here in Delhi over the Gas tragedy of Visakhapatnam. More than 9 people have died due to the Gas leakage of LG polymers in Vizag.

Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to the NDRF teams over the issue. The gas leakage took place around 3 am in the morning it is reported. The PM Modi, on the other hand, has convened the emergency meeting to chalk out a strategy so that the hazardous industries don’t create issues in the near future across the country.

it is reported that the PMO is already monitoring the situation in Vishakapatnam. The meeting started around 11am under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

The Hoem Ministry officials are also taking stock of the situation. Preliminary investigations revealed that the gas leave occurred as the factory was being opened after the lockdown.

There is an opinion that the workers have not taken all the precautions required before opening the manufacturing g plants. The company manufactures plastic disposal items.
