The popular Khairabad Ganesh is almost ready and getting the final touches. The GHMC is clearing the lakes and Artificial tanks for the Nimajjan of the idols.

Now the market is open and there are fewer restrictions. People are back from Corona to regular life and they want the celebrations to be done in a big way.
The Purohits who have had no proper business and marriages since last year has hiked their fee. They are charging around Rs 2500 for a small pooja.
The Satyanarayana Vratham Pooja is costing around Rs 3000 for hiring a Pujari.
