Chiranjeevi who successfully negotiated with Jagan Government for a new GO in hiking the ticket rates did not comment over the new GO issued by the AP Government.
In fact, he had to face a lot of flak in surrendering to the Jagan Government for requesting the hike of ticket rates. He told media that later he will be addressing a press meet over the hike in ticket rates.
At the same time, Pawan Kalyan the hero and Jana Sena Chief also said that he would not comment or tweet over the matter. Earlier Pawan chided at Jagan and said that if the Government wanted to block his movies, he was ready to give them free for the exhibitors.
Pawan’s movie did not do well in AP due to the low ticket rates and no special shows. In fact, there was no Hungama in the movie circles over the said new GO.
Prabhas thanked the AP Government for hiking the ticket rates. His Radheshyam is due for release. RRR will also get the benefit of the new GO. But Acharya will not get the benefit it is reported.
The tickets have been classified into premium and non-premium tickets. The highest rates are around Rs 250 for the recliner seats in the multiplexes.
While the rates are lower in AP, the rates are very high in Telangana. In fact, the exhibitors are trying to reduce the ticket rates herein Telangana
