City police have banned Kathi Mahesh from entering the Hyderabad. He is expelled from the city for making uncharitable comments on Lord Rama.
After Srireddy and here casting couch remarks, now it is Kathi Mahesh and his Ramayana statements that are making the news. Non-controversial and straightforward officials like Aravind Rao who was former DGP of Andhra Pradesh has made it clear that kathi Mahesh was wrong in his outbursts. Not only that people are finding fault with the channels which are airing such kind of nonsense and improper statements made by individuals.
Now after an outrage from all sections of society, Mahesh is trying to hide behind the Dalit mask. But he may not get any advantage out of it. Even Dalits like Rama the Maryadapurushottam very much. The Hindus as such are with Rama and they will not tolerate anyone making uncharitable remarks against him.Even ladies are coming forward to make statements against Kathi and challenging him and dragging his mother into the controversy.
If this was somewhere in North, Kathi Mahesh would have been beaten up black and blue. People are sparing him here. Some of the officials are surprised as to why no Government in the Telugu states was acting against him. Some cases have been registered against him in various police stations. The Police have questioned him in the Banjarahills police station. But people want him to be punished at any cost. There is a chance that he could be attacked in the near future by Hindu outfits like Bajrang dal or VHP. Now Kathi is trying to get the shield in the name of a Dalit. But that is not happening.
