The Ramulamma of Telangana Vijayashanti the popular Telugu actor called as the Lady Amitabh is back with the BJP again. Ramulamma started her political career from the BJP during the days of LK Advani. She played holy with Advani and other top leaders.
Vijayashanti was one of the busiest stars in Tollywood who has done more than 25 films with Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Now the question is will she be of any use to the BJP at this juncture?
After quitting films she joined BJP when Vidyasagar Rao the former Governor was the BJP Chief. Later she joined the TRS to become and MP from Medak.
After that she could not adjust with KCR and joined the Congress party. But there was practically nothing for her to do in the Congress party. Her speeches or presence could not make any difference to the Congress party. Will it make any difference to the BJP now. Is it the right choice for the BJP has to be seen.
There are two elections ahead one in Telangna and the other in Telangana. After that she has to work for the midterm poll only.
When Chiranjeevi could not get votes for the Congress, there is nothing that Ramulamma can do for the party. The local Congress leaders just ignored her.
All of a sudden she has done a movie with Mahesh Babu called Sarileru Neekevvaru. People thought she is back with films. But now she joined the BJP again.
Here also she might join the campaign and remain ornamental in the party. DK Aruna is already there in the party as the National Vice President.
In Andhra Pradesh Purandeshwari the daughter of NTR is calling the shots. So Vijayashanti will do the campaigning here.
