The Telangana Budget is Rs 2,90,396 lakh crore. Minister for Finance Harish Rao presented the budget for the fourth time in the state Assembly.
While presenting the budget Harish complained that the centre was not allocating funds as per the federal structure. There is no proper cooperation from the centre he complained.
The state is facing severe loss because of the lopsided policies of the centre stated Harish. The paddy cultivation has gone up by three times said Harish.
The farmers are very happy in the regime of the KCR he said. The budget has allocated 12727 thosuand crore for the power sector. 12000crore for the Asara pensions.
17700 crores for the Dalitha Badhu scheme. 36750 crore for the SC development. 1009 crores for the education department. A new ayacut of 20 lakh acres has been developed with the availability of water for irrigation.
1471 crore for Harhithaharam have been allocated. 2200 crore for Minority welfare have been allocated. 26885 crore for irrigation have been allocated.
2000 crore for the village roads. 4037 crore for the industries department. 3000 crore for the public distribution system. 1000 crore for oil palm cultivation.
9599 crore for the Home department. Yadadri power plant will generate power from this financial year Harish explained. The power consumtpions has also gone up in the state when compared to the National consumption he pointed out.
Niti Ayog appreciated Mission Bageeratha and other water schemens he explained. 1000 crore for I and PR. 500 crore for Hyderbad airport metro have beeb allocated.
200 crore for Musi development. 500 crore for old city metro connectivity.
