Some parts of the Brahmastra movie are extremely and some scenes are worst. It is not properly blended by the director Ayan and let’s hope he will make the second part more interesting.
Rajamouli the RRR director is the presenter and it has made no difference to the collections.
Overall, Brahmastra is an ambitious effort that works when the narrative sticks to its core strength, the ‘Astra’ universe. The bland romance and length tire, but with expectations firmly under check, the setting and the plot give enough to make it a decent one-time watch.
It is reported that Rajamouli and his father writer Vijayendra Prasad have corrected the movie in many ways. The drag has been edited to a larger extent.
The result is just Ok. The larger story playing out in the film also feels weak and the screenplay suffers, too. The dialogues aren’t able to salvage much either. Towards the latter part, the runtime begins to feel tedious.
The narrative could have been balanced better between the two halves of the film. And though the songs are pleasing to the ears, at times, their presence affects the momentum of the narrative.
Making a movie is different and selling it is very different. One must learn the art of fooling people to the theatres should be known from the RRR team especially the family members of Rajamouli.
