The Telangana police have made a green channel from Khairatabad to Tanbund for the bada Ganesh Nimajjan shobha yatra. The Bada Ganesh is expected to get immersed in lake waters by this evening.
Bada Ganesh has already boarded the Tusker vehicle and the procession to Tankbund is going on.
Thousand of pilgrims from across the city and other parts of the state have come toKhairatabad to take part in the Shoba yatra here.
People from all walks of life are coming to the Tankbund in the heart of the city to witness the Ganesh Nimajjan process and take Prasadam from the vehicles leading to the Nimajjan.
With traffic diversions and restrictions all roads are leading to the Hussain Sagar from all sides. The procession did not begin even though it was noon.
The rain delayed the Nimajjan process and the Ganeshas which have come last night to Tankbund are in the line for the Nimajjan. Assam CM Himanth Biswas is coming to Hyderabad and he is expected to speak at the famous Mojamjahi market crossroads.
As today is Friday the Ganehas will be allowed to cross Charminar afternoon. Rapid action forces have deployed at the sensitive areas in the Old City.
The ladies were seen dancing in front of the Charminar as if they were doing Garbha. The Nimajjan process is expected to be completed by Saturday morning.
