There are strong rumors in the political circles that Bharathi the wife of Jagan might contest in the coming elections. This is like a standby for Jagan if he could be arrested in ED or any other cases against him.
Jagan has been a CM on bail for the last several years. At the same time, Lokesh the TDP National General Secretary is also training his wife Brahmani who is the daughter of actor and MLA Balakrishna.
Wife Brahmini will lead the Telugu Desam party in the event of Nara Lokesh’s arrest, former minister and TD politburo member Ayyanna Patrudu said .

“They put Chandrababu in jail. Lokesh is ready to go to jail. Many forces are trying to destroy the TD but they will not succeed,” Patudu said.
“If necessary, Lokesh’s wife Brahmani will lead the party. There is no dearth of leaders in the Telugu Desam,” he stressed. Brahmani has already made a statement in support of her uncle and is ready to take the plunge in case of any crisis for the leadership of the party.
Balakrishna will also encourage Brahmani who is his daughter. But what will junior NTR do, will he take the plunge or stay cool with the movies is the question.
It would be interesting to see Bharathi from YSRC and Brahmani from the TDP in the coming elections. Sharmila and Vijayamma will also contest from the Congress party against the YSRC.
